The city of future is considered from personal space modules to mega structures.

Considered where cities could be as floating pontoons unaffected

by rising sea levels, having its own vegetation while supporting services may be connected to main land if any or has to have its own independent system.

Ever increasing speculation of land would provoke a vertical growth with minimum footprint, thus emerging housing units being suspended from high tensile catenaries can be envisioned.

Pylons and service cores would provide all the necessary services for living.

All major vertical cores would be connected to mass rapid transport system.

In the other case scenario a perimeter structure wraps the existing Built-form and adds up extra space like a shell over the perimeter & on the top of existing structures, connected by the vertical transport system of the wrapped building or by individual core systems. In this way the roof tops existing structures work as the new pedestrian & public level and another suspended level of MRT is added.

In the 3rd case scenario the wrap up city goes through inconsistent addition and transformation of ad-hoc spaces making it a heterogeneous entity as a whole still having its aging suspended & subterranean MRT
