the basic idea in terms of master planning derives from making  a visual connection to both the sides of the site which have either lakes or designed water bodies-  literally by means of elongating the building laterally &? elevating it to make a context that visually links all the major outdoor spaces in a connected yet isolated way .water bodies & water channels passing through them give a sense of unity among the villa users as well as an anticipation of  flow & presence of water as a source of connection to life, nature & vitality.

the entry to each villa  starts with the summer court to give a sense of invitation, as the summer( baishakh )is greeted as the year beginning of Bengali year, followed by a rainy season court (the month of ashar & srabon) adjacent to main living & dining areas from where the rainy season can be romanticized .the winter court is on the 1st level under the double height space open for leisure which is also the last level for public penetration to bring a similarity to the end of year &  sense of separation as all the private functions are segregated by it.

all the major spaces of the individual  villas are inter connected by water channels starting from the apex of the site terminating in a central water body- encouraging to congregate,  gather & recreate. water also is anticipated to fall from the 4th floor pool of villas through a spout down to the water court below during rainy season ,thus giving a feeling of connection to nature & vitality not to mention the importance of water to our topography & culture as well as symbolizing life in its purity.

the club house, pools, mosques & sunrise/sunset points are all poised in vantage points to enhance vista & functional/zoning & planning efficiency.
